Pet Industry Marketing
Marketing built for the pet industry, and nothing else
TailWerks is a pet industry marketing agency for veterinary clinics, groomers, trainers, daycare and boarding businesses, and pet franchises. Choose your industry to see how we approach local visibility, inquiries, booking paths, and follow-up around your services and capacity.
Find your industry
Marketing for five pet-service industries
A daycare assessment, a grooming appointment, and a training consultation need different information and follow-up. Pick your industry to see how the work applies to your business.
Veterinary Clinics
Help pet owners find the right services and give your team a clear path from inquiry to appointment.
Pet Grooming
Reach suitable clients, explain pet fit and pricing, and support follow-up while your groomers are busy.
Dog Training
Explain program fit, assessment requirements, and owner involvement before an inquiry becomes an enrollment.
Daycare and Boarding
Recurring daycare attendance and date-specific boarding stays need distinct campaigns, capacity checks, and booking paths.
Pet Franchises and Multi-Location
Coordinate shared brand work while keeping local needs, approvals, budgets, and results visible.
Why a specialist
Marketing should account for how your business operates
These are the operating conditions we build around for local pet-service businesses.
Calls and messages often arrive while your team is caring for animals. Campaigns need a clear response path, with routine follow-up and a person responsible for conversations that need judgment.
Practice-management and booking platforms decide what marketing can actually connect to. We map supported connections and technical limits before promising a workflow.
Phone and messaging features may require telecom registration, approved opt-in language, and usage-based platform costs. We identify what applies before activating the related feature.
Grooming schedules, veterinary reminders, daycare routines, and training programs have different follow-up needs. Timing should use your approved process and the data your systems support.
Holiday boarding, summer grooming, puppy season after the holidays. Budgets and campaigns should move with the calendar your business actually lives on.
A single location needs a plan for its services and market. A franchise or group also needs shared standards, local responsibilities, and reporting across participating locations. The scope should reflect that difference.
How working together works
Two ways in, whatever your industry
Every industry above is served by the same two paths. The industry pages show how each one applies to your kind of business.
Essentials for communication and follow-up
Essentials supports missed-call text-back, a shared inbox, approved routine replies, reminders, review requests, rebooking, and reactivation where the required data is available. It is $297 per month per location on its own or alongside Foundation or Growth, under a six-month rolling contract. Your team handles human replies and escalations; Essentials does not answer live calls or staff your inbox. Communication usage and approved paid-feature or third-party charges are separate.
The marketing system, in three levels
Foundation covers search advertising, core local SEO, the website, and tracking. Growth includes Foundation and adds Meta advertising, managed social media, expanded content, authority work, and ongoing website improvements. Scale is privately quoted after six months on Growth. It includes Growth and the Essentials service scope, plus approved advanced automation, routine AI phone support, workflows, and production. There is no separate Essentials management fee with Scale. Ad spend, usage, and applicable outside costs remain separate.
Resources
Free reading, tools, and workshops
Built for pet businesses, and free whether or not you ever buy anything. Each industry page carries the resources for that industry.
Next step
Find the problem worth solving first
Tell us what is happening now. We will review visibility, response, follow-up, and reporting, then discuss the scope that fits. For paid advertising, we also review competing clients and confirm the protected service category and market in writing. Standalone Essentials does not automatically include market protection.
