Paid Social Specialist

Run Meta campaigns for pet businesses with verified tracking, disciplined pacing, strong creative coordination, and reporting that connects spend to real inquiries.

Role details: This is a 100% remote contractor role open to applicants worldwide.

The role

Paid social only works when the offer, audience, creative, landing experience, and tracking agree with each other. You will build and manage approved Meta campaigns, coordinate creative needs before performance stalls, monitor pacing and policy risk, and explain results without hiding behind platform language.

This role sits between media buying, creative production, and measurement. You will not improvise client offers or publish unapproved claims. You will turn approved strategy into controlled campaigns, catch fatigue or tracking failures early, and make sure the next test is based on what the account actually showed.

The standard is not constant activity. The standard is a campaign that launches cleanly, stays inside its guardrails, and gives the team a trustworthy basis for the next decision.

What you will own

  • Build and manage approved Meta campaigns, audiences, budgets, placements, and optimizations for assigned clients.
  • Coordinate creative briefs, required sizes, variants, deadlines, and refresh needs with the design team.
  • Verify pixel, Conversions API, forms, and lead routing before launch and when results become inconsistent.
  • Monitor spend, delivery, fatigue, disapprovals, and material performance changes.
  • Document meaningful changes, test rationale, approvals, and outcomes.
  • Prepare reporting notes that connect spend to visible inquiries and explain limitations in the data.
  • Escalate tracking failures, policy issues, creative gaps, or performance risks before they become client surprises.

How our core values show up in this role

Own It

You own the condition of assigned campaigns, the clarity of their tracking, and the early warning when creative or performance is slipping.

Over Communicate

Creative needs, launch dependencies, approval gaps, and performance risks are raised early with a concrete next step.

Understand Before Doing

You understand the service, offer, audience, capacity, and destination before building the campaign. You do not optimize a broken funnel by moving buttons in Ads Manager.

Checked In

You monitor pacing, delivery, policy alerts, and lead flow on the agreed schedule and keep the team record current.

Results Over Activity

Campaign edits and fresh graphics are not results by themselves. You focus on qualified inquiries, trustworthy measurement, useful tests, and responsible spend.

Only Client Energy

Clients receive controlled campaigns and clear reporting. Internal confusion over creative, tracking, or approvals is resolved before it reaches them.

Talk Is Cheap

Every recommendation becomes an approved test with a recorded outcome, or it remains an idea rather than a claimed win.

What good looks like

  • Campaigns launch only after tracking, links, forms, and lead routing are verified.
  • Creative refreshes are requested before fatigue becomes a reporting excuse.
  • Spend stays inside approved limits and pacing issues are raised early.
  • Tests isolate a meaningful variable and produce a documented learning.
  • Reports explain what the platform shows, what the client received, and where attribution is limited.
  • Account Managers have useful context before client conversations.

You may be a strong fit if

  • You can connect media performance to the offer, creative, destination, and follow-up instead of treating them as separate problems.
  • You are organized enough to coordinate several creative and launch dependencies without last-minute surprises.
  • You investigate tracking mismatches and lead-quality concerns instead of accepting the platform total.
  • You can explain a weak test honestly and define the next responsible move.
  • You respect approval boundaries for offers, claims, budgets, and live changes.

This role is probably not a fit if

  • You chase trends or platform suggestions without understanding the client and offer.
  • You launch before creative, tracking, landing pages, or lead routing are ready.
  • You wait for performance to collapse before requesting new creative.
  • You report impressions and clicks as if they prove business results.
  • You make unapproved changes to budgets, offers, claims, or live campaigns.

Required experience

  • Hands-on Meta Ads experience for local, service, or comparable lead-generation businesses.
  • Working knowledge of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, form tracking, and basic attribution troubleshooting.
  • Experience coordinating creative requirements and campaign launches.
  • Clear written English and disciplined campaign documentation.

Helpful, not required

  • Google Ads experience.
  • Short-form video or creative-testing experience.
  • GoHighLevel familiarity.
  • Experience with pet businesses.
